The new expansion covers the Normandy Campaign, but this time puts you in control of the Germans and their mighty Tigers. Through ten single player battles you will face Allied troops breaking through from the coast. You must hold them back with your beleaguered forces and their limited supplies. This add-on also features 5 great new multiplayer scenarios where you can try out the brand new Jagdpanther in combat.

Command Ops gets a Massive Update!

Matrix Games and Panther Games (http://www.panthergames.com) are proud to announce the release of a major new free update for the critically-acclaimed World War 2 operational wargames Command Ops: Battles from the Bulge and Command Ops: Highway to the Reich.

The v4.4.263 update represents over a year of additional development and improvements on the Command Ops engine, largely based on community feedback. This is provided as a free update to Command Ops customers, representing incredible value in terms of post-release support and improvements.

This update fixes bugs and greatly improves gameplay and modding. This includes improvements to the LOS tool, handles stalled moves and scheduled attacks better, improvements to supply, enables units that are retreating and retreat recovering to surrender, and a veritable host of dozens of other improvements.

War in the East: Lost Battles is here!

Matrix Games is proud to announce the release of Lost Battles, the latest expansion for the award-winning World War II strategy mega-game Gary Grigsby's War in the East.

Lost Battles adds more than 10 new scenarios covering some of the most interesting battles on the Eastern Front to the critically-acclaimed wargame.

Choose from short scenarios like Operation Konrad (Germany’s desperate defense of Budapest) and Operation Mars (Soviet offensives Operation Mars and Jupiter) or the longer ones like the Battle for Moscow (Operation Typhoon and the subsequent Soviet winter counter-offensive) and Vistula to Berlin (the final offensives through Poland and the fall of Berlin).

Adding to these are three full Campaigns: Winter 42-43 (the Soviet 42-43 winter counter-offensives including the recapture of Stalingrad), Stalingrad to Berlin Campaign ( the Soviet 42-43 winter counter-offensives which continues until the end of the war) and the 1941-45 Campaign (the standard full campaign with added sudden death victory conditions for both sides).

Concurrent with the new expansion release, the v1.07.08 official update is also now available for Gary Grigsby's War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945. This major update brings significant AI and balance improvements, changes the save game structure to eliminate certain exploits in multiplayer, restores some upgrade paths to address late war issues and includes additional bug fixes and data changes. This update is designed to work together with Lost Battles for the best possible experience, but also brings gameplay improvements to all existing scenarios and campaigns.

While we all wait impatiently for the imminent release of the expansion, we want to provide you this exclusive content as a a preview of the outstanding scenarios that are heading your way.
The manual features historical and scenario notes from the eleven new scenarios included in Lost Battles, which are designed for use with the Gary Grigsby’s War in the East base game.
These scenarios were designed by Trey Marshall, John Duquette, John Young and Wayne Close.

A sneak peek from Allied Corps!

We have teased you with screenshots, but we know it’s not enough for you. Now are happy to provide you an exclusive trailer video from the upcoming Panzer Corps: Allied Corps, the spiritual successor of Allied General!

This brief video follows Allied troops from D-Day to the battles of Caen and Bastogne and beyond. The video takes a selection of the units in the game (submarines, battleship, tanks and aircraft), through real locations using real photos from WWII. You can watch the video HERE. It will be also available as an in-game intro, so players are going to enjoy it when they get their hands on Allied Corps.

Allied Corps also comes with a bunch of new features that bolt in to the base game and change the way it plays letting you experience the entire game again – more detail on this coming soon!

Rise of Prussia Gold is a new edition of which includes 2 years’ worth of updates, fixes, improvements and even some great new features and adds 3 new scenarios to this strategy classic.

Rise of Prussia Gold recreates the “Seven Years War” which occurred between 1754 and 1763, involving most of the great powers of the time. It was defined by Winston Churchill as the first real "world war" because it was the first war in history to be fought not only across Europe, but also in various parts of the globe where the European powers had colonial possessions.

The two sides in the conflict were the Coalition of Austria, France, Russia, Poland, Sweden and the Alliance between Britain and Prussia, the new European power that possessed a formidable war machine and, above all, a great and ambitious leader, King Frederick II.

Rise of Prussia Gold is available as a full new game or as an upgrade kit for Rise of Prussia. NOTE: The Upgrade Kit is compatible with all non Steam versions. We will be releasing a Steam version as soon as we are permitted.
